Mortgage Rates in Nashville and Across the Nation Sit Near 4%

In recent weeks interest rates have slowly crept up to just under 4%.  An article in The Tennessean  by Julie Schmit discussed how we had most likely seen the lowest they were going to go when they hit 3.5%, but was doubtful they would go much above 4%. A rebounding economy naturally leads to increased interest rates, but according to economists they are by no means headed for a rapid increase. These are key facts for home buyers to know. It is important not to sit around waiting for them to go back down!
