It is that time of year again! Over the next 13 days area schools will gradually all be back in session. The school year kicks off tomorrow in Davidson, Dickson and Wilson counties. And if that isn’t enough to make you start anticipating the changes to your lazy days of summer or the easy commute to work each morning, Tax Free Weekend certainly will!

Tax Free Weekend kicks off on Friday, August 2, at 12:01 a.m. just in time to pick up school supplies and a new back-to-school wardrobe! Even if you are not heading back to school or have children heading back to school, you may want to take advantage of Tax Free Weekend. It is August 2 through August 4 and it is great time to save a little money on purchases.  Here is the list of what is Tax Free in Tennessee from the state’s website.

To find out when school starts in your area or even when the first holiday break is, below are links to the school district websites in and around Nashville.
