I just went to the bar in East Nashville called No. 308 last night for the first time, and it is very cool… it seems like more people should know about it!
No. 308 has been open since last September and has a really laid back vibe. (Unfortunately I didn’t pay as much attention to the furniture as I should have – however, it has really cozy couches, a large bar and some great large tables for groups. It also has a nice patio for outside dining.)

Owners Alexis Soler and Ben Clemons have decorated in a clean, sleek, and spare 50’s hipster style. The lofty ceiling gives the room a wide-open and airy feel. You’ll need to put in some work getting up on the tractor seat bar stools and once up there you may want to stay a while. Click on the image to read more from the NashvilleRestaurants.blogspot.com
There are many fun specialty drinks on the menu, and the food, mostly small bites, was excellent. I had some delicious pork carnitas with a spicy pesto sauce. It was a perfect mixture of sweet and spicy.
This little spot in East Nashville is a great place to go with girlfriends, on a date or for a happy hour (they have great happy hour specials). Their well-made, classic cocktails have a similar feel to Holland House just down the street in East Nashville and Patterson House on Division Street.
Some past drinks include:
Mickey Finn – gin, cardamom, grapefruit, maple syrup
French 75- cava, gin, lemon, sugar, bitters
Pisco Sour- pisco, lemon, egg whites, sugar
The cocktail menu changes frequently, meaning more delicious drinks are to come. Have you been to No. 308 yet? Which drinks have you enjoyed most?
No. 308 is in East Nashville at 407 Gallatin Ave.
