Fall Decorating

October is here and cooler temperatures are on the way next week. It all has me thinking about fall decorating. There are so many thing we can do at home as the season transitions from summer to fall.

Door wreaths have come a long way over the years and everything from burlap, flowers, corn husks, gourds and ribbons can be hung on your front door in a beautifully unique arrangement to represent the season.

I found this one on Etsy.

If door wreaths are not for you, an arrangement of hay, mums, pumpkins and other gourds can brighten up your porch or yard.

Hanging mums with their vibrant yellow, orange and rust colors always make people think of this time of the year.

Mums come in so many colors. Choose your favorite at a local garden store to make your arrangement unique.

Take some time this weekend to put away the summer items on your porch and welcome the cooler temperatures with something that makes you think of fall!
